What is Birchwood Creative Hub?

Birchwood Creative Hub is a community arts and wellbeing space run in partnership with Borders in Recovery. It offers people in recovery the chance to explore their creativity through a range of activities including music, visual art, crafts, writing and more.

Creative expression is a powerful tool in recovery — it provides a healthy outlet for emotions, builds confidence and self-esteem, and creates a sense of purpose and achievement. At Birchwood, there are no expectations and no prior experience needed.

The hub is a place to try new things, meet new people and discover parts of yourself that addiction may have hidden away.
